Sciences Po is a world class university in the social sciences, ranking 4th internationally in Politics and International Studies.
Each year, Sciences Po welcomes 13,000 students, with 47 % of its student body made up of international students representing 150 nationalities.
At the undergraduate level, Sciences Po offers a 3-year curriculum grounded in the social sciences, taught in English or French. It includes a common core of social sciences courses (law, economics, history, political science, humanities and sociology), a major as well as specialised courses according to specific regional focuses.
Undergraduate students spend the first 2 years on one of Sciences Po’s 7 campuses in France and are then required to spend their 3rd year abroad studying in one of Sciences Po's 470 partner universities. The mandatory year abroad allows students to deepen their knowledge in the social sciences and to reinforce their language skills. It is also a fantastic opportunity for students to open their minds.
Following their 3 years of study, students earn their Bachelor of Arts degree.
Sciences Po also offers dual bachelor’s degree programmes with prominent world universities. Students graduate from both institutions, providing access to leading graduate studies and prominent markets in the world.
At the graduate level, the 2 years of Master’s study include 3 semesters at Sciences Po in Paris and 1 semester away interning or studying in France or within our partner network abroad. Our graduate programmes provide students with both an in-depth academic background in the social sciences and hands-on experience of the professional field they aim to work in. Sciences Po offers Master's programmes taught entirely in English. No need to speak French to enrol in these programmes.
Sciences Po has also partnered with internationally renowned universities to offer dual-degree programmes at the Master's level. A multidisciplinary approach, dual expertise, fluency in different languages, multicultural experience: graduates of these programmes boast profiles that are highly appreciated by recruiters.
Finally, students looking to prepare a PhD may study in one of Sciences Po's five Doctoral programmes in law, economics, history, political science and sociology.
