Individual cases
Meeting with the employer
If you as an individual have been invited to a meeting with the employer and would like to be accompanied by a union representative from Saco-S, please send an email to kansli@saco-s.lu.se and describe your case. We will then get back to you with follow-up questions and then appoint a union representative with whom you can have contact. This person can also accompany you to meetings with the employer. This may involve rehabilitation meetings, corrective dialogue, misconduct management, conflict situations or anything else related to the work environment or your well-being.
Questions about your employment or job situation
If you have questions about a situation at work or related to your employment, please contact kansli@saco-s.lu.se and we can provide advice and support. There are around 20 union representatives working for Saco-S at Lund University, so you will meet someone who is not from your own department and who is used to representing our members. At the same time, our workload varies a lot so it is good if you contact us in good time.
Saco-S at your faculty
To increase our local accessibility for members, we have introduced faculty representatives. The idea is not that these should primarily deal with individual matters at your faculty, although that also happens, but to be a node for the overall issues. These can include organisational changes, cost-saving measures and the conditions for research and education. The faculty representatives can invite members to meetings or have coffee with the union before faculty board meetings and answer general questions from members about what is happening. The task also includes finding new union representatives. Saco-S is completely dependent on the commitment and expertise of our members. We all come from the organisation and are your colleagues.

Faculty of LawOLOF BECKMAN - Senior lecturer at the Department of History. Union representative since 2022 and a member of SULF. Olof represents Saco-S on the Board of the Faculty of Law and is a deputy on the University's Education Board. In Saco-S, he works mainly with negotiations, finance and matters related to agreements. He is also a representative on the University-wide Research Programmes Board. In addition, he works with individual cases and recruitment. MAX IVAGNETA SANMARTIN - Research engineer at the Faculty of Medicine. Member of the Board of the Saco-S Council. Union representative since 2019 and a member of Naturvetarna and SULF. Agneta is Chief health and safety at Lund University. She works with individual cases, collective negotiations and work environment co-operation. Faculty of MedicineJARO ANKERST - Professor at the Department of Clinical Sciences. Member of the Board of the Saco-S Council. Union representative since 1989. Jaro has been a member of the board of Mellersta Skåne Läkarföreningens since then, and was chairman of the SACO council at Malmöhus County Council throughout the 1990s until its dissolution. Jaro is a Saco-S representative on the Board of the Faculty of Medicine and on the IKVL Board. Jaro is most interested in research and work environment issues. Johan also works with individual and rehab cases, managerial recruitment processes and the collective agreement group. Faculty of Social SciencesADAM BRENTHEL - Researcher at the Faculties of Humanities and Theology. Chair of the Board of the Saco-S Council at Lund University since 2017. Union representative since 2011 and a member of SULF. Adam is a representative of Saco-S on the University Board and on the Board of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He represents SULF in Saco-S's decision-making body, the Council of Representatives, and is a member of SULF's negotiating delegation. Adam is interested in research and education policy and issues of collegiality.
