This year's salary review at Lund University – how it works
This year's salary review started on October 1, 2025, and the new salary is planned to be paid in February 2026, with retroactive salary from October 1. The following applies to members of Saco-S unions at Lund University:
The process in brief
- Follow-up with your manager: Your new salary is based on your performance. Make sure you have a follow-up meeting with your manager to discuss your work tasks, goal achievement, and results.
- Salary-setting appriasal: Between mid-November and mid-December, your manager will inform you of your new salary and explain the reasons for the decision.
- Digital salary agreement: After the meeting, you will receive a digital agreement in Primula. You must respond by December 19—approve if you are satisfied, or select “Disagree” if you want to have a more in-depth meeting with your manager, HR, and union representative.
Important to know
- Saco-S has pushed for changing the salary review model to collective bargaining, but the employer has rejected the proposal. The process will therefore be carried out as in previous years. At the same time, we will continue to push for a change of the current salary setting model, both locally and nationally.
- The target for the salary increase within the state sector is 3.4%, but the individual increase varies. Argue for your salary based on your performance.
- Salary statistics are available on our website.
