Remote work for teachers and researchers
Last spring, we announced that the University wants to adopt guidelines for remote work for teachers and researchers.
We thank you for all the input we received before the negotiation. Many of our amendments have been accepted and Lund University has now decided on new guidelines. The new guidelines clarify what applies to insurance, responsibility for the work environment and the like when working remotely, but do not change what applies according to the working hours agreement, i.e. that teachers and researchers must be at the workplace to the extent required by the activities. Regarding remote work from home in Denmark and short breaks abroad, the guidelines also clarify various practical issues that working abroad may entail.
