Local union work
At the local level, Saco associations collaborate through, for example, the Saco-S and Sacoråd unions. It is your association that drives your issues and gives you central support when needed.
The local associations drive much of the union work in the workplace so that the conditions of each workplace can be taken into account. Contact your Saco union or ask your manager or the HR department if you are looking for your local union representative. They know who to turn to for support and help.
The unions and the various negotiating organizations provide support to the local operations. The negotiating organization or union that represents you depends on whether you work in the private, state or municipal and regional labor market sector.
