Corporate culture

Scania and TRATON should be companies to be proud of. In terms of its view of and actions towards its employees, as a member of society, as well as for the added value and sense of belonging they offer employees.

Improved Group collaboration

For group collaboration to be successful, strategies, principles, governance and methods must be clearly communicated. There must be technical prerequisites for efficient and sustainable work, as well as opportunities to benefit from our different cultures and ways of working. To facilitate collaboration, it is important that we live by our core values and have a common interpretation of what they mean.

Corporate culture that contributes to well-being

It takes conscious decisions and actions to develop a corporate culture that contributes to the success of the company and the well-being of employees. Employees who go above and beyond what is expected of them should also be able to expect similar support in return, through the different phases and events of life.

Protect and develop the culture of collaboration

Both unions and companies need to protect the Swedish model, where the parties are given the opportunity to decide on employees’ conditions in collective agreements. In this way, adjustments can be made based on local conditions, which is not possible when the conditions are decided through legislation.

The company needs to involve the union representatives early in the decision-making process so that employees’ interests are protected and decisions are made based on the best possible basis.

Increased sense of involvement

Employees need to be given good conditions to broaden their network within the company. Both in daily work and through social activities with colleagues outside their own organisation. Making sure employees feel involved in a larger context contributes to a stronger common culture and an increased understanding of the company as a whole.
